Dr. Clayton Parr

Artistic Director

Dr. Clayton Parr is the director of choirs at Albion College.

He comes to his work with the Battle Creek Master Singers with over 35 years experience as a professional choral singer - with Music of the Baroque, Bella Voce and Grant Park Festival Chorus in Chicago, the Oregon Bach Festival, the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, and the Syracuse Vocal Ensemble.

In addition, Parr has led Michigan

Educators Male Ensemble for the last 10 years, and conducted the Battle Creek Community Chorus for 11 years.

At the collegiate level, choirs under his direction have won prizes at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales on two occasions, and have been invited to perform at conventions of various music organizations.

He is looking forward to working with the Battle Creek Master Singers in finding creative programming, invigorating rehearsals and performances, and new connections with area audiences.
